Direct access course cost

Direct Access is your fast track to full power machinery. All training carried out over whole days not short four or five hour sessions. White Bike Training we take very seriously the real concerns that new riders have about riding powerful bikes, and we promise you that your DAS course will be in the hands of highly experienced and well-trained instructors.

Direct access scheme You can get your full (category A) motorcycle licence using the direct access scheme (DAS) if you’re aged or over. You’ll have to pass the motorcycle practical tests on a machine of at least kW (5 bhp).

What is direct access training course?

Book a Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) course as soon as possible. It will cost you between £1and £179. You need to either hold a UK driving license (provisional is fine) or a EU driving license that has been registered with DVLA (Form D9).

However, if you take your direct access course on an automatic bike, your licence will be limited to automatics motorbikes only. Taken on a manual motorcycle, it allows you to ride both manual bikes and automatics.

You will need your provisional licence and be at least years old. Over you can train on our 6or unrestricted 650cc bikes under the direct access scheme and obtain a full bike licence with no restrictions. Depending on the time of your practical tests, you may be required to book an additional half day on the day of your test.

Andrew Granville Stafford and Chris Bryden are approved by the Bar Standards Board to deliver public access training courses. This is a three hour course. An Access module is a great place to start if you want a gentle introduction to Open University study.
